Some designers have a hunger for new materials. I like materials that have already proven themselves. I want to rediscover them and prove that even after being touched by so many people they are still full of surprises. It's just great when you feel a new hunger and enthusiasm for a material. In this case melting beads caught my attention to be used from 5 years. However, when you start playing with them at age of 40, one might come to very different results. Playing, practicing and investigating are actually so similar and exactly what I like to do in a design process.
