These Big String-Sofas were developed for the TextielMuseum in Tilburg. The interior of their new entrance building was being designed by Studio’s Muller en van Tol. They were so kind to ask a few fellow designers to participate in the project. I was asked to design a set of sofas that could create a division between the actual entrance and the restaurant. The sofas are made of big steel frames that are coiled with polypropylene strings in different colors. Black sheepskin coats where used for the seat.
